This week in 6th grade ELA with Mrs. Rossi, students welcomed certified therapy dog Rooney and Mrs. Genis from Sea Girt Elementary School. After exploring non-fiction sources about the benefits of therapy dogs, students got to see those benefits in action! It was a feel-good lesson that warmed hearts and stretched minds. Thank you, Mrs. Genis and Rooney, for a paw-some experience! 🐾

This evening we held our annual Cops v. Kids Basketball Game at Mountz agains the Spring Lake Police Department. Our Mountz 8th Graders squeezed out a narrow win by 1 point. Thank you to the SLPD for keeping this tradition alive! # mountzpride

Today, we hosted our MUSST Program (Mountz Uniting Students and Seniors Together), where our 7th graders teamed up with special guests to explore coding and Lego Robotics! Huge thanks to Mrs. Deaver and Mrs. Pearce for organizing this amazing event. #mountzpride

The students in Mrs. Marcus Feld's class took part in a simulated electoral vote research activity to predict how states might vote on Election Day. This hands-on project-based learning experience was a fantastic way to connect students with real-world events. #mountzpride
